Today i was searching through the internet for a webhost which had some certain features (Unlimited traffic, no add ect..) and i found but it looked like it had been made in 10 minutes. The thing that makes me sign up to a site is how it looks. I hate sites with images that have a differing background to the site's background and out of line text (ect..) So i though i would make a site which you could download buttons, website images, website freeware (like wordpress or Joomla) and have tutorials. The site's name could be WebSupermarket (but the item are free until i get a large ammount of traffic, which would mean i had to pay for the hosting and maybe get a pro domain.)

After a quick Google search i found that there where not many of these sites so it thought i'd make one. I just wanted to see how many people would be interested in the site and if you could give me some feedback.

Thankyou!

so when you have to start paying how will you charge for freeware?

Well i wont charge for freeware but i could charge £1 or $1 for a site background and have premium version and free version (to to be honest im not exprecting the site to get that way (i am only 12)

You can get a pro domain for as little as £3 a m year so there really is no excuse. Using free hosting and a free domain would cripple you from the start and you'd never see a high volume of traffic. Not only because it looks un-professional to have free hosting and domain but also because free hosting wont have the capacity to deal with it.

You're better of investing a few pounds in the idea and you'd have a much better chance of success.

P.S. there are already sites out there that do this, i don't mean you shouldn't try but i'm just letting you know it's not an original idea.

I realise it's not an original idea. And i know that free hosting and domains are not going to be as popular but this is just a starting point for me. And i have looked into domain name and such but first i need to get the site on the rails.

But thanx for posting
