April 7, 200818 yr J.P. You have to share your's first I take it you mean gotten for someone rather than from someone. In which case i can't think of anything. Except for *nothing* when I've forgotten a birthday entirely!
April 7, 200818 yr I always buy lovely gifts... My father on the other hand bought my mother the following: Christmas 2006 - An Iron Her birthday one year - this thing you wear which is meant to help burn fat! He really is a lovely man. We've erased the other crap presents from our memories.
April 7, 200818 yr I always buy people good presents, though I sometimes cop out and buy them chocolate.
April 7, 200818 yr Ha I thought of something, For Father's Day a while back I got my Dad a Barbecue cleaner. It was what he said he really wanted, and last time I saw him he was using it to clean the grill raving about how great it was... I thought it was a terrible present but it seems to have made him happy.
April 7, 200818 yr Author haha before i started getting money properly it would usually be things like flowers from our own garden or even once hover bags...
April 8, 200818 yr I don't think I've ever bought a crap present, but I've sometimes given up and bought choc or flowers. Usually a browse around Firebox or IWOOT will turn up a great pressie
April 10, 200818 yr When I was younger I gave my sister and my mom handmade Christmas ornaments. They were balsa wood in a diamond shape, painted with model paint with a clipart picture of a snowflake glued on it. I didn't even use ornament hooks; I punched a hole in the top and looped some string through it. They both still have them, as far as I know. The crappiest present I ever gave as an adult was when I bought my brother-in-law this Indiana Jones XBox game he never asked for because he had wanted the movie (?). I never saw him play it and I feel bad that he had to be happy about getting it. In retrospect I blame the guy I was with at the time; oh, the crazy foibles of being 17 (the present and the guy).
