This is work in progress but I'd just like to hear what you think.

is looking really nice and is clean.

have you thought about making the 3 pics a little bigger and using the far left edge and the far right side to align your text below too?

example scafolding would have the same indent from left as the photograph above it.

would tie the elements together nicely.

From my point of view I think these shadow effects of the panels are destroying the Sleekness and Corporate look of the Site.

In place of Shadow effect you can use thick Borders ( 5 - 6) px thick solid borders.

Thanks for that, I'll try it and get back to you :)

no worries, just had another look and along with this how about

- getting the right edge of the smaller photos to align with the right edge of the middle larger photo

- the testimonial boxes could then narrow slightly and align right and left with the right side large photo

what this will hopefully do is turn the page below the header/banner into three columns.

good luck - if you do try it post up another jpeg for us to see and feedback on

*s****** you said 'erection'..

The site is functional and presentable and stuff... but a tad boring. There's so much potential in a subject like construction or scaffolding. Other thing would be the logo... it says nothing about the company - although that may have been outside the scope of your work.

The colours are nice and stand-outish and nothing really wrong with it, though

*s****** you said 'erection'..

I tell ya, this is the third sexually explicit site on the forum in the same amount of days! :o

I really like the site, especially the font you've used for the tagline. You've kept the layout nice and clean, which fits in perfectly with the style of the logo.

Well done :)

Hi Matt,

Site looks quite good. I have a couple of comments:

- The users eye is drawn to the pictures rather than your main text on the left which is a little dull. It's not obvious what your about. You sort of look more like a show homes site.

- The logo could maybe do with more work to just give the same professional image as what the site shows off.

Otherwise, well done! The design is good if you had a homes for sale site...

Hope it helps.

PAul.

The logo could maybe do with more work to just give the same professional image as what the site shows off.

I think that should be the other way around, as he might not have designed the logo :)

As for the text on the left, I agree with mrbigdog. It should be darkened a tad to make it stand out against the strong images.

I would definitely consider replacing the word 'erection' with something else. I know it's a perfectly legitimate word for the activity concerned, but to some people

*s****** you said 'erection'..

Sums it up really.

Nice clean layout though. Be good to see a coded site with content included.

Please excuse mrsnotbanksy...

She doesn't get out much. ;)

I would keep the word personally, as it is the official word for what they do, and in the trade it has a totally different meaning. They haven't taken it out of the Yellow Pages because it makes people laugh.

Anyone else notice the quote section? LMAO.

Nice site though, I like it.
