Hey.

 

I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of days and decided to join.

 

I started doing some freelance web design some time ago on the side, and I want to try and build up my portfolio up some more. I have recently updated my website, and wanted some honest constructive criticism about both the website and it's content.

 

One thing that I keep asking myself, is do I list that I have experience in photography and moving image production as well as graphic/web design, but do I sound like I am a jack of all trades expert of none? Should I aim my focus at just web and graphic design/development? That is where my main experience does lie. Also, do I market myself as being a sole person, or as a studio?

 

And also, I thought it would be a good idea to list fixed price packages - would this be a suitable thing to do, or am I shooting myself in the foot? Too cheap?

Header is ok, footer alright but the center just looks like you rushed and miss mashed it together does not fit in with the rest of the site if you ask me

I like the copyright notice. looks very professional. Never seen that before. One thing - you never mentioned web hosting??

I think I am going to focus the website more on the web design/development side of things, and make it much more clear on exactly what I can offer.

The underlines are to denote the accesskey for the navigation, and as I have already used 'P' for the packages page, I went to the next available letter of 'O'.

Thanks - you're happy to use it. I don't offer web hosting - clients usually purchase their web hosting beforehand / separately and tell me their FTP details. Is it worth looking into hosting reselling?
