Post from my website to social networks

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking for a script or something I can use from my website to post to Twitter and Facebook, I want something pretty basic I can set up for a friend to use to send out simple updates without having to log in and post on both separately.

Im not currently using a CMS

I know of things like Ping.fm and such but would like to keep everything self contained.

Thanks in advance

If you are not using a cms, why not link your Facebook status updates & Twitter feed together & embed a widget on your site that will show the updates? Then all you need to do is login to either Facebook or Twitter make an update & all 3 sites get updated automatically.

Hi,

thanks for the reply, however i was looking for a way to send updates out from my website, having yet to find a way to do this i am going to look into converting my page to use with wordpress and use a plugin from there to post outwards.

thanks for taking the time to reply

Hey there! If you're using wordpress there's a free plugin called WordSocial that allows you to publish your posts to Facebook and/or Twitter. I'm thinking of adding it to my site but I haven't had the time yet. :-) Look it up on Google.
