JavaScript Error In IE - LinkURL is null or not an object

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

I'm having a problem with this jQuery RSS News reader. The code works perfectly fine in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox but fails to load when in Internet Explorer.

According to IE the error is on line 192.

Here is a link to the webpage the error is happening on: http://www.pixelisedesigns.co.uk/ghg/

and a link to the js file http://www.pixelisedesign.co.uk/ghg/js/jquery.newsWidget.js

any help is much appricated

It loads fine in IE9 RC but not compatibility mode.

First off, and to rule out anything, you should validate the code as it could be the earlier releases are stricter on code....eg. <LI> within <UL> and not on their own.

oh, quick aside, your <title> has 'gound'
