has anyone had any experiance in doing a site for a takeway shop with automatic ordering system ?

 

i have a client that needs a site doing i was thinking of using magento any recomendations that would suite this

I've never done a takeaway site but I'd go for simplicity, cutting out everything you don't need, http://www.dominos.co.uk does it quite well.

what would you recommend bluedreamer for basic cart plus easy to skin

I would love the opportunity to be able to do a ordering platform for a company.

 

I love the Pizza Hut online form, and have often thought about trying to make a copy... sad I know

 

As for the software, I don't have any recommendations I'm afraid pal.

I've done everything that would needed for such a thing - but never in one piece for an actual takeaway service. Do you need to integrate with any EPOS systems? Voice/SMS notifications, etc? Give me a shout if you like and I might be able to help.
