I never understand why it is that people put in the bottom that their sites are valid when they have errors on them...Then again you do state it is 'based on valid xhtml and css' so the fact that you have errors in both your css and xhtml can be covered by the fact that you are only basing your code on valid code rather than actually using valid code  .

Design wise, logo is hard to read, so maybe make it bigger.

Footer might be better centred as it would sit better on the page.

The orange thing at the top cuts off the text as it is aligned left rather that center

But its a clean fresh design, but if you should really fix the errors especially when you say that you can build websites...yet there are simple mistakes that are so easily fixed on yours.

Okay, I love orange but that's a little bright even for me. :p I agree with Dizi that the logo is difficult to read.

You might also consider styling your navigation menu a bit more; it's very simple and you've got some nice graphics (bright graphics!) on the rest of the page, so it kind of gets lost in amongst everything else.

Is your work meant to be template based, such as the e-commerce ones?

100th post, get in! :drinks:

The orange is a bit bright!

Also it looks a little weird as the banner is stuck to the left edge, but doesn't reach to the right as far as the header or footer so it is mis-aligned on both sides, either center it and align it both sides, or make the right edge reach the right edge of the header and footer.

Text could do with being a little darker, but it would be a lot easier to read if I wasn't squinting from the orange!

It is a very nice, clean design overall though!

Erm...

"Building your site with a content management system" would probably be more correct.
