Hi

I've just created a website called design2ecommerce with a service I'm hoping will appeal to webdesigners. I need advice on the site, it's look, feel, design and whether the message of what we do is getting accross correctly? If you can help, offer any advice that would be greatly welcomed. http://www.design2ecommerce.com

What software do web designers typically use when providing ecommerce sites for clients? :)

Hi

I'm not sure you've posted this in the correct section as this section is for introducing yourself as a person.

I had a look at the website and it looks fine to me, a simple design which is easy to look at and free of gimmicks, but I would say perhaps add another point to the FAQ section to make it absolutely clear what your company does. Why? because some people may look at that site and not have a clue what it is about, there is no "about us" page so it's not obvious if you don't know already.

Good luck with your project.

Hi

Thanks for your feedback, very much appreciated. I've just added a section at the top of our FAQ's that hopefully makes things a little clearer, I have something to build on which is great. Thanks for the heads up as well regarding posting in the wrong place. I will post no more here!

I would add buttons to the slider, I didn't get a chance to finish reading some of the slides.

your website really isnt showing anything.

No demos, No customers, No portfolio, Nothing about what your shop gives to customers.

For instance, I use Cs-cart mostly as i think its about the best out there, especially for the price.

It uses alot of ajax so the website runs very smoothly and fast, and very easily to template and customise.

Anyway my point is take a look at there website. It shows that they are professional, and that their product is good.

Before you say thats a script, lets face it yours is a script, at least with this script you can easily customise within the backend with the template editor.

Take a look, you can see why these are successful
