Cool,

I like the design and there's some really interesting stuff on there (Especially for an SEO n00b!). Thanks!

I don't have time to read this this at length now....but I have started and it is interesting and is now bookmarked.

It's easy on the eye and one of the few websites I have commented on here where I haven't complained that the text is too light to read comfortably.

Look forward to reading more :)

Thanks guys, theres SO much to write about I, I just sort of dived in wherever, I'm hoping the archives and categories will build up over time and make it easy to navigate for both beginners and experts alike.

I can't (and won't) take credit for the design though I'm afraid! Its a (modified) wordpress theme that was given away free somewhere :)

It looks like you're well on your way to a great blog. The content looks full of juicy information; I will have to take a better look soon ^_^

Thanks Rob!

If anyone has anything that they're particularly interested in I'm more than open to suggestions for future posts :)

I'm sure I can come up with something, not right now though. SEO is one of the aspects of web development I'm still meaning to learn.

You're doing pretty well on your site so far, but make sure every page meta title and description is unique, and relevant ONLY to that page as much as possible.

Make sure your description and H1 use keywords from the title, and have atleast one page-copy keyword in <strong> tags on each page

You'll jump ranks within a week just by applying that :)

I'm currently in the process of redesigning my website, so I will take that on board when I come to the content. Thank you!

I shouldn't really be critiscising though, my design site (in my sig) is a mess of background images, image maps, and one absolutely positioned div - LOL, not exactly seo friendly

I'm also in the middle of a big big redesign! :)

You'll have to let us know when it's done, I look forward to seeing it. It's always incredibly hard redesigning your own site, I'm my own worst client! ^_^

You will notice that I am saying alt attribute rather than alt tag, because that is what it is. ‘Alt tag’ is used so often incorrectly, for there is no <alt ></alt> in html markup, therefor it cannot be a tag, there is however, an alt attribute that is attached to other tags, for example <img src”" alt”" /> where <img /> is the tag, and src=”" and alt=”" are the attributes.

YES! THANK GOD!

I see people say alt tag all the time... and it makes me really ANGRY! GAH!

I hope you get your new design up soon. Your current one has a droopy sidebar in IE. :(

Rachael you were actually my inspiration for that paragraph as I called them alt tags too until I read one of your posts back in December (didnt forget though!) :)

Yay! I'm glad I inspired you. I've been inspiring a few people lately. It's great. I wish I could inspire myself...
