February 26, 200818 yr Hi guys here is the site www.chelmsfordnag.co.uk/cgi-bin/nag/index.html When browsed in ie it works fine but, if browsed in firefox the login and menu divs align left? I am sure it is something simple but I am new to CSS (this was my first foray outside tables) and darn it can be annoying ;-) Many thanks in anticipation. Lloyd
February 26, 200818 yr OK, the first thing to do is validate your page to get rid of the errors - http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&am...ag%2Findex.html Once you've done that it will be easier to spot any remaining issues. It might even be fixed once you have valid code.
February 27, 200818 yr Author Doh! top man, my bad. The site is a freebie trying to combat the middle-wage spread engulfing our leafy country side, so I chopped old code into it hence the lack of validation on those lines, I do need to tidy it up. I have however place the xhtml page used as a template for the cms site without that code here; http://www.dynamicwebrenovations.co.uk/test/basicpage.html which validates nicely yet still exhibits the unknown left justification in firefox? Any ideas?
February 27, 200818 yr Author Hi Rachael I am playing with the div sizes to try and get it to work properly but that throws out ie, it should be ranged right as it is when you view it in ie. Thanks
