September 19, 201015 yr Hi Guys obviously this relates to the text content in the body as the homepage has little, is there anyway that I can up my index without adding text into the body (as this won't work given the layout)? I have so far used the 'title', 'description' and 'keywords', the wording is similar for both pages but there is more in-body text in the 'about us' section. I don't really want to change any of the publicly visible atributes so is there any other way of getting my index rated better? Thanks
September 19, 201015 yr That's because the search engine thinks your "about" page is more relevent for the search term you're using. I'd suggest working on your about page by providing some good calls to action for your visitors.
