  1. Let the client get what they deserve when it goes wrong you can charge more for the costs assosiated with "corrective surgery". To be honest though the damage to the clients business will already be done if he gets that guy to do it.
  2. I have two seperate areas im looking into; Im going to opt not to say as it appears the site averages alot of 'guests' most of which im sure would be quicker in doing what i want to! Has anyone come across manufactures i.e. dell doing dropship work?
  3. The wholesaler I have chosen definitly has no ecommerce package.
  4. Is there a free way of accepting visa-mastercard etc that still offers good security. Or is there no such thing?

  6. Presta shop looks incredible, I have only had a quick look but does anyone have experience with this? also does it support the ability for a user to edit the layout code (CSS or HTML) and use your own designs?
  7. Hey Guys, Following on from my last question, where do i start with a dropshipping site. I only have experience of HTML and CSS, I will want a shop interface with a checkout system that can ideally process all major cards through (unless its more common to have the customer go to the wholesaler).....am i about to bite of more than I can chew?
  8. I would not put the site is 'under maintenance' as that implies a fault at the webdesigners end. I would stick with the previous recommendation. Hope things work out for you.
  9. I assume that's a non-dropshipping technique? Im thinking about going down the dropshipping route if I can make the website.

  11. If you want a pro-photo then it shouldn't come free, we are expected to pay thousands of £'s for equipment, setups , models etc. in the name of a few photographs and then sell them for penny's. That website is great for translating the real costs involved behind a photograph, good work.
  12. I have speant the day looking into this and am going to persue wholesalers for the market over the next week. As my web design skills are still very much in "progress" am i going to bite of more than I can chew. I will appologise now for the quantity of questions i will be bound to ask over the coming months I think it will help when i know some of the specific terminology. What is the typical process of passing payment and details to the wholesaler. I.e. do i take payment through my site and set up an automatic forwarding system to the wholesaler less the profit or is it more common to send the whole purchase through to the wholesaler (if so how do you get a return doing it this way)?
  13. Looking at the FBA system, can you only sell the products through the Amazon site or can you set your own up to interact with it. I think I would still have the problem with purchasing a large quantity of stock to start out with though.
  14. excellent, I will have a look at that today!
  15. Hi Guys, I have picked an area that I’m going to try to start a business on over the next 4 weeks (before I go back to work). Although the area is fairly well covered there are a few gaps in the market; I’m going to use the computer industry as an example, supposing I wanted to sell computers online, now my problem would be that given the wide range of products available I could not afford to purchase much/ if any stock. However, I do know that many businesses have been started with the same problem and that they are now doing very well, what I don't understand is how they have done so. So i have made a large assumption to what seems to be the only practical solution, you locate a trust worthy supplier i.e. Dell. and then mark up there prices for a small profit on your website. If someone buys this product from your site, you then put the order in with your supplier, now firstly i don't even know if doing this is legal and secondly at this point it seems to get complicated because it would seem that if you purchased the product from the supplier it would have to come to me before going to the buyer from my website, this obviously presents a problem in terms of delivery time. Can someone enlighten me on how this process should actually work please? my next problem is that Dell's prices are never as cheap as the same unit is in a shop such as PC world (this is all hypothetical) so do these shops get a bulk discount from the main supplier Dell or do they source them somewhere else (very confused on how this works) Thanks for any help on this, I really can't work out how you would even start. Sam
  16. Pull the site without doubt, and i would agree with going for the 'Acount suspended' option. If he carries on failing to pay and the domain name is not too specific you could look for another client in a similar field.
