I need a log in button that allows new members to register or current members to just log in. I have no experience of doing this and would appreciate expertise from you guys on here please. Thanks. September 18, 201015 yr Are you using a CMS? If so, it should be an option you can enable or install. If you're not using a CMS - I strongly recommend doing so as it makes this task incredibly quicker and easier.

Is CMS integrated within Dreamweaver CS4? All I usually see on my screen is HTML and CSS. Pardon my ignorance

I have downloaded the full CMSWIKI from: http://aplikacja.info/cmswiki/Download The full download above gives the pages I have attached a screenshot of (please see attachment). As mentioned above, my site is HTML. I will have specific members to have access to pages they can edit online - will these members need a login page and if so is this page in the download? Once their login is accepted, they get taken to the WIKI pages I presume right? Bearing that in mind, which page from the template ought I use as member's area? Also, which compulsory pages will I need for online editing to take place? Can I amend the page titles? Sorry I am a bit confused about how CMS works exactly hence the dumb questions again
September 18, 201015 yr Err, I meant read about what a CMS is on Wikipedia. I didn't even know that 'CMSWIKI' even existed I really suggest that you take a look at using Wordpress (CMS software). It's the most common of beginner CMS's and you'll get the idea fairly quickly.
September 18, 201015 yr apart from pointing out that the acronym CMS means Content Management System (just to be clear for the OP).. i highly recommend ModX CMS http://modxcms.com/ wordpress is good to and you should probably use that, but if you fancy an adventure ModX will provide you with a very robust and extendible system that will please you on many levels out of the box with very little effort

I am on a MAC so perhaps that is the issue?
