well i posted something like this with the link a couple of weeks ago and someone said i could as it is in a separate folder. but now i aint sure

Hey,

Why not just use google translate? This script will display a banner to convert English to Welsh when the browser default language is Welsh.

<script>
function googleTranslateElementInit() {
 new google.translate.TranslateElement({
   pageLanguage: 'en',
   includedLanguages: 'cy'
 });
}
</script><script src="http://translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script>

More setting etc here: http://translate.google.com/translate_tools?hl=en&layout=1&eotf=1

Anywhere you damn want! haha.

Probably best in the footer though, as it'll load up last anyway. Google always recommends it's scripts go in the <head></head> though.

ok ignore the last post i have sorted it, just need to sort the lip on the homepage, 1st point if anyone can help

Its due to the border bottom value in your header css:

#header {

background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #000000;

border-bottom:3px solid #262626; <----------------------------------

height:46px;

margin:0 auto;

padding:0 10px;

width:940px;

}

Removing that should get rid of it, I cannot see why it does not show all the way across though.

Ah, I see you are supposed to have that by what I see on the other pages.

Problem on the home pages is that you have the <div id="page"> and the <div id="footer"> sitting inside the actual header div.

Moving it outside like you have on the other pages should sort it all out.

synjyn thank you mate sorted it now.

Does anyone know if you can have this google translate on the home page and it changes every page

They do? Unless its a Meta tag of some sort I've never known Google to say to stick it in the Head? With Google Analytics code example, it states "before the </body> tag" I think.

Yes the google analytics asynchronous tracking code is recommended to be installed in the <head> tag, where as the old tracking code needed to be before the </body>.
