Hi all. I've recently joined the forum as I'm looking to become a web/logo designer and create videos. I would be interested to find out some info from you guys who can relate to this or even if you don't, I'd still really appreciate some feedback.

 

My biggest concern is logo design. I'm not an artist in that I'm not great at drawing really precise drawings. Design software allows you to bring your ideas to life and I feel I can create eye catching logo given the right software, as I feel I understand what is required when designing a memorable logo.

 

I'm wandering if you can indeed become a successful logo designer without being a world class artist! Thank you in advance for your response.

Artistic skills required? Undoubtely.

Find examples for your inspiration, try to imitate great masters. Work, work work.

There's a lot of logo design books that I'm sure would be useful. I haven't bought any myself, but I probably will eventually. Plus, I found a lot of videos on how to design logos on YouTube. Hope this helps! I'm learning how to design logos also.
