July 12, 201016 yr Hi, Any idea how can I put a photo to appear in front of the ULR address of my website? Thanks, Alisia
July 12, 201016 yr you mean a favicon? if so then in the head of your document put something like this <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="fav.ico" /> the image file should be .ico format and in the root folder
July 12, 201016 yr If you're using the same icon across the whole site you don't even need to add anything to your HTML doc. Simply save the ico as favicon.ico & chuck it in your root folder

July 17, 201016 yr Author What do you mean by root folder? The folder where is my website with all the pictures and, css and html files? Thanks, Alisia
July 17, 201016 yr Root folder is the main folder where the website is located. It is the folder that holds every page and every other folder. In another way, the root folder of this website would be www.webdesignerforum.co.uk as every page and every folder is inside this one.
