July 9, 201016 yr How do I make the top left and right corners of a rectangle rounded in Adobe Illustrator CS5? I'm trying to add a black overlay on to a shape in Illustrator, so I can use it to show text, this is what I have so far. But I just need those bottom corners unrounded. So how can I only make specific corners rounded?
July 9, 201016 yr Well if it is the same as photoshop just move the top layer underneath the bottom layer and it should hide the bottom two corners, or draw another rectangle shape on the bottom of that current shape and merge them together.
July 9, 201016 yr Can you take your marquee tool and select a rectangle which is including the bottom corners, then just delete?
July 10, 201016 yr You can draw a regular rectangle using the Rectangle tool over the bottom edges of your current shape, and then select both shapes with your Selection tool (V), and, in the Pathfinder panel, click the "Minus front" icon
