June 23, 201016 yr Is the site actually listed in Google? try in google site:yoururl this will show how many pages of your site Google has indexed. Where are you getting these results from? And have you set up webmaster tools in Google? Regs, Numb
June 23, 201016 yr http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl Does that help? :-) Sorry to say but IMHO never use the Google addurl service. The very best way is to get linked naturally is from backlinks from other people's websites - so long as they are indexed on Google of course. When Google spiders that site and comes across your backlink it will follow it and hay presto your indexed. If you can get a backlink from a site that's spidered daily you can see yourself on Google within 48 hours. Also using Digg, Stumbleupon and Delicious can all help to get you indexed fast. I've recently used Mixx as well and that seems to give ya a bit of backlinking quite quickly. Regs, Numb
June 24, 201016 yr Author The website is listed in Google (currently at position 12 for our most competitive keyword). The query isn't about how to list it in google. We are using a link popularity tool onthe SEO Centro website which analysis the links associated with each search engine. It shows 450 links in yahoo, altavista, msn, etc but none for google however webmaster tools shows 86 links.
June 24, 201016 yr I use SEO PowerSuite and rarely does it show actual Google backlinks. Most are usually listed via Yahoo. I can stand corrected, but I think that Yahoo are a bit more open about backlink info. Google actively tries to block automated software that checks backlinks or submits sites. SEO PowerSuite has 'human emulation' that tries to get round this so there is definitely an issue with this. If you use the Firefox plugin KeywordSpy, that only shows Yahoo backlinks and not Google. It is possible that SEO Centro is being blocked by Google. I understand that Web Position Gold gets blocked by Google so you may be suffering the same. Contact the supplier of the service (especially if your paying for it) to get a definitive answer. Regs, Numb
June 27, 201016 yr Do you mean backlinks, because Google does not always show that you have created any backlinks, but they do count!
