June 8, 201016 yr Hi, As title really, I have been asked by a friend to build him a site for happily newly weds to view there photos and to choose which pictures they want. So I'm going to need client areas for each couple to view just thier pics. And to select them. I could just recommend using something like: www.imagepartner.co.uk. A website that holds the pics, takes the orders and prints them out. But I thought having your own control would be far better. Any help much appreciated.
June 8, 201016 yr this is a site that I have come across recently that displays the wedding pics nicely: http://www.focalpix.co.uk/ourportfolio/ not sure how helpful that is but hopefully it will give you some ideas?

Thanks, Not sure about the design but I like the issuu album. No client log though.
June 9, 201016 yr If you can program PHP then building it yourself shouldn't be too hard...but if you have no php experience, then it may be a tough ride. You may be able to use a CMS of some sort to do the log in areas for you - even a CMS would need quite a bit of custom setup/coding to do what you want it to....the gallery is the easy bit - either build your own, or use on of the many scripts on the net - using jquery would make it easy to have a nice looking, interactive gallery.
June 9, 201016 yr Author I am just learning php, But was hoping to use a cms. I have been trying to see if wordpress will do multiple log ins for customers that my client can set up? But I think it will need something more bigger. Would Joomla do the job?
June 9, 201016 yr Author Does anyone know how this site has made the images have a watermark appear when pic not hovered over? http://www.shaunedwards.com/proofs/weddings/pocock/ But again no log in area for customers.
