I've actually bought that image for the site but didnt get round to uploading it so its a good job you spotted that! Not used the CS5 content aware fill yet - seem some demos, have you used it? got wht you mean about the link color, that makes sense!

update, have added a portfolio page but its not the best, the other site I did completely was the same design as the beauty one but required a login and personal info (a wedding site) so cant really use it...

need to get some examples of work up, most of my work is for clients at my place of work, so i have the skills I just need to branch out more into freelance, and i worry that the finished article on my websites isnt that great... it kind of ties in to the template thing, i dont know how clients work when they give you an idea of what they want so thought that the template thing may give a layout to work with, its not that i cant do it just that the sites I have done for friends have all been "do whatever you like" which is a tough brief to work with... i guess £250 is a little steep for that kind of thing, i really dont know what direction to go in as i want a fixed price option, but need to keep it so that its not going to spiral out of control! thanks so much for replying - really appreciated!

will add examples of work as soon as i can, only got a couple of small freelance projects at the moment so not a great deal to add on there at the moment - need to start somewhere! have shortened the site slightly, perhaps i need to do more... hmmmm about page ditched - agreed will add a contact form, and probably style the page up more with some backgrounds and images.... stuck with the header, any ideas welcomed... i am bad at logo design so it may mean thats something i have to outsource the twitter widget has been customised, lol, guess maybe i need to do some more! thanks again!

i also think that the site is a really nice design! It took me a long time to find the navigation even though I knew there was one as it was mentioned here I'm not too keen on the closeness of the h3 header to the line above, I see its -5px at the moment but have just tried moving it to -2px and it seems to give a better effect for my taste anyway... Not keen on submit button either W3C link is showing in standard blue, would be nice to stylise this a little, and add a space at the end Would be nice to see the Portfolio images bigger to begin with.. I LOVE the lightbox effect tho! I'm not sure what to make of the "images" section... it just kind of pops out at me and then i dont know what to do with it?? Also should remove the underlining from the non linked words... i do like how you did the popout, just think maybe it needs a bit more detail as to what to use this area for? lastly I think that the myspace and facebook logo should line out, we are only talking a pixel or two but it shows up that they arent in line hope this helps!

Not sure if i have stumbled on this and you are still updating this page but it seems to have the old design? old design here The design works well in Chrome but the menu is wrapping on my screen in FF (3.6.3) - I have attached a screenshot Also not sure if you need it both top and bottom but not fussed on that one tbh. I also agree with the geotrust logo bringing down the quality of the site. You need to change the favicon i think its still the old one? I like the background on the "designers area" login (here), could you maybe use one on the contact us form? contact page other than that i think it looks really good!! i like it!

I love firefox for designing, as the firebug tool and the CSS editor in the web developer toolbar are second to none! Saying that I love Chrome for its speed and the way it is always realiable... i just find it hard to use the developer app that it uses, and have tried Firebug lite and cant get used to it... so I use Chrome mainly for non design work....

I'm going bonkers and staring at the screen, any feedback welcome! Its so hard to be critical and objective of your own work so I hope someone here can help ta in advance! www.weaverwebs.com Princess
