basic illustrator question

Featured Replies

Hi have this logo that i want to put a stroke around. Im good with photoshop and on tere the effect i want can be done by either giving the text a stroke or a zero distance drop shadow or outer glow...

So could someone tell me how i do this on adobe illustrator as i cant seem to find helpful tutorials either?

I can tell you how using inkscape or even do it for you just for the love if you like? Sorry I have never used illustrator. If you get no joy pm me and I'll help.

Hope this helps

Rosie

You can do drop shadows in Illustrator now. Under Filter > Stylize... or Effect > Stylize... Just set the offset distance to zero to create outer glow effect.

cheers

Just highlight the shape and got to stroke palette, add the weight required, then go to colour palette and add the colour to the stroke. Simple!
