Fireworks - Can I Blend Pictures?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Anyone know if its possible to blend two (or more) pictures together in Fireworks 8? Can you explain how I go about it?

And...... Anybody recommend a good tutorial or book on Fireworks 8?

Many thanks

Rob

Hi Bob,

Was this the sort of thing you mean?

I borrowed some of your wonderful photography liquid, I hope you don't mind.

To overlap 2 or more pictures together try this.

In Fireworks, select 1 image and goto the top menu and select:

Commands > Creative > Fade Image

Select the angle of fade, tweak the length on the image, and there you go :) If you need to tweak it again, select the image, goto your layers and click the bitmap layer and you can adjust the fade rate accordingly.

Repeat this on other images you wish to blend and join.

Hope that helps.

:)

Sorry Ben, I'm totally new to Fireworks - only downloaded it today. I managed the Fade OK, now how do I join the pics?

Hey, I did it!!

Sorry for being a bit thick - I didn't realise you could drag an image from one window into another window!!!

Many thanks for your help. Hours of entertainment ahead playing with this one :D

Cheers
