(I made a facebook group as well!) 1) You have got installed on your Desktop at least 5 internet browsers. 2) You have spent a whole night trying to get your site to validate to W3C standards. 3) You know what WCAG Priority 1 is 4) You know what COPPA is 5) You are a Firefox nazi and feel the need to install firefox on any machine in your immediate vicinity 6) You shiver at the thought of the words "Norton Anti-Virus". 7) You want to tear your eyes out when you here the words "Internet Explorer" More than 4 hours sleep a night is a treat. 9) More than 8 hours is AMAZING. 10) You have woke up and gone on your laptop at stupid-o-clock in the morning because you had a FANTASTIC idea for a layout for your site. 11) You adore Adobe but at the same time think they should be done for extortion. 12) You have brought at least 3 graphics tablets not because you wanted a new one, but because you lost the pen to the other two, and you know they won't accept anything else. 13) You are expected to storyboard before implementation, but the fact is that just about everyone you know will reverse engineer. 14) You get annoyed when people on more traditional subjects class your course as 'Easy'. Have they ever even ATTEMPTED to get a website to validate?! 15) You get even more annoyed at the person that called your course easier then their traditional subject because you know for a fact you have three times the amount of contact time than them. 16) You have at least 4 blogs swimming around the internet. 17) Your keyboard has allsorts of crap on it, including but not limited to: biscuits, pizza, cake mix, cookies, sherbet, crisps, pasta sauce etc 18) It is quite normal for you to stay up for 24 hours on a regular basis 19) You become nocturnal 20) When you go on holiday and go on a plane, you take all your gadgets and computery stuff (laptop of course) in a rucksack, and you are convinced that due to the amount of USB cables you have in there you will look like a suspected terrorist to airport staff. 21) You have chose your mobile phone because it allows your laptop to get free internet anywhere. 22) You have asked if somewhere has wifi access because your mobile went dead and you know you have your laptop with a skype headset, even though you know you will look like a complete nutter. 23) You have brought at least 6 bluetooth sticks within the last 6 months. 24) When you or your parents move house, the first thing you research is whether you are near to a adsl exchange or can receive fibre optic broadband. 25) You find the sound of a ancient dial up modem starting up nostalgic, although it brings back several frustrating memories. 26) The first day you got broadband you were on the computer for a whole day and just downloaded stuff just for the sake of it. 27) You have had lucazade and a galaxy bar for breakfast before. 28) You know the difference between Accessibility and Usability 29) You know what RIPA is 30) You have played the Wikipedia game 31) You think you should have a loyalty card for dominos pizza 32) You get always seem to get a bit of freelance work just before a deadline for a major assignment 33) In your handbag you not only have a purse, mobile etc but at least 2 memory sticks at any one time. 34) You own a media hub that is at least half a terabyte in size, but you still know that still isnt enough for all the crap you download. 35) You haven't brought hardly any textbooks this year because you know internet tutorials will be more up-to-date 36) Your first html coded website was a crime to humanity 37) You have actually brought Adobe CS4/CS5 Web Premium student edition because you are terrified you would get thrown off your course if they ever find out you downloaded it from somewhere for free. 38) At least one friend from home has messaged you over facebook questioning whether you actually still want to be in contact with them, but you havent had time to breath let alone arrange a meet up. 39) You get it from your parents when you are on facebook/update your blog for more than once a day, but as soon as you stop updating your status/posting blog updates, your mum has emailed all your student wardens + flatmates because she hasnt seen a blog update or a facebook update in over 24 hours, therefore something must be horribley wrong. (True story) 40) You have have written a christmas card to someone in HTML or CSS before. 41) You weren't sure who to vote for, so you took a internet quiz. 42) After finding which party you should vote for, you then checked whether their site validated to check that you made the right decision. 43) You actually looked at the technology part of the manifesto. 44) You groan at the thought of another goverment database as you know that your chance of having your identity stolen has shot up EVEN MORE. 45) Why can't they put the above in the hands of google? You would trust them more with it. 46) You own some sort of novelty usb device. 47) You know using someone elses wifi without permission is wrong, but when challenged, you ask someone whether they would be surprised if they got robbed when they left their door wide open when they went to the shops in a rough area. 48) You never read instruction books before getting a gadget or new software, you just dive in. 49) You have WHOIS looked up someone. 50) You would LOVE to go to E3 in LA one day, and have actually planned out with a flatmate how you would get there, even though it may not be open to the public!

Glad you like it. Me and my Web (Development) flatmate got bored (It was the night after we had done our last exam/assignments) so we wrote this at 4am in the morning!
May 14, 201016 yr Lmao I relate to most of them but never ever ever had much trouble getting a site to validate at all. Am I weird?? It's normally something really simple to fix if there is a problem but I reckon 80% of my pages validate first time. Anyone else have problems valadating. BTW - what degree are you doing mate and at which uni??

I know they are normally simple to fix, but when you are panicking it seems longer- normally something really simple seems complicated when you take panic and lack of sleep into account lol BSc (Hons) Web Design at Staffs
