April 30, 201016 yr Hello, I am trying to create a really basic site for a client and I have used their header as the background and put the navigation bar in. When looking at it in dreamweaver, the nav bar is positioned perfect but when I preview in firefox it moves! Anyone know why and what to do to resolve? I know it is probably a CSS thing but I dont know enough about that as yet to rectify. Please help!!!
April 30, 201016 yr Dreamweavers preview doesn't give you an accurate representation so the key is to use real browsers for previewing.
April 30, 201016 yr I would start from scratch if I were you. Don't think about the design yet - just concentrate on getting your html semantic. Make sure you get a great looking css-less site, then add in the css afterwards. Can you post up a link for us to see, it may help us to diagnose your problem
April 30, 201016 yr Yup let us have a have a peek at how it is looking. And never use dreamweaver's design page to judge how it will look. Always preview it in a browser (F12) - I tend to use firefox and IE.
