DIV moves with browser window

Featured Replies

Hi,

This is my first post so go easy. If I have failed to provide sufficient information just say.

My problem I am sure is basic but I am having no luck. To incorporate a static footer I had to change atround my css, remove margins etc. this has resulted in 1 of my divs moving with the browser (when I shrink the browser horizontally this div stays on the screen, where ideally I would want it to stay put so that it could be viewed with the scrollbar). All of my other divs stay put and they are all part of the same page wrap, with pretty similar code. Please have a look and see if you can spot the fault. Here is what I believe to be the relevant code, please ask for anymore.

*				{margin:0; padding:0; }

body			        {color: white; font: 14px Georgia, serif; background: #73adbb url(../images/back.jpg) fixed no-repeat;}

#page-wrap			{width: 100%; height:100%; min-height: 1380px;}

#sidebar			{position:absolute; width: 241px; top:165px; right:112px;}

obviously the sidebar is where the issue is, I have tried a variety of code.
