March 9, 201016 yr Hi all I have designed a little favicon and uploaded it to my website but there are a couple of pages that i cannot find in the directory any ideas what these may be? and how I can drop in the favicon to these pages too? The site is www.keystonelimited.com and here are the pages that i cannot find. 1 & 2 By the way someone else built this site for me but have given me full access to the files so i can edit and mess about etc hence... I think i have found and updated all the other pages but am stuck on these 2!! Cheers guys, Jason.
March 9, 201016 yr They look like dynamic pages - they'll be controlled by a single php/asp/whatever page. Is there a /search/ directory? It will probably be in there.
March 10, 201016 yr it should be enough to upload it to the root directory of your site (and preferably be called "favicon" though it doesn't really matter. ) you don't say what browser and version you are using works for me on firefox on vista
March 10, 201016 yr Author Right well i have managed to get it to appear on the buy and rent pages of the site but now cant find the file for the further details page when you click through for a specific property. I'll find it later though im sure. Im testing it in firefox, editing in notepad++ You mention just uploading to the root folder. Does this mean that i can just drop the ico image file in there and every page will display it? I thought i needed to put in the code in <head> of every page? cheers guys

I don't add any code to any pages. Sometimes IE doesn't show it, but it works most of the time.
March 10, 201016 yr Author cheers mrsminkie Please excuse my ignorance I am a novice but I have dropped it in to the public_html folder where it seems all the folders & html files reside but it still wont show up on certain pages on the website in firefox (i havent tested in other browsers). I havent deleted the code i put on the pages previously yet will that conflict?

Although I'm quite sure that when I uploaded mine, it didn't show in all browsers straight away. Try deleting the code and just having the favicon in your root folder.
