Head in the clouds web review...

Featured Replies

Ok, Well I have been experimenting with some different stuff recently and, I am thinking about changing my companys name to head in the clouds design, soo.. I got bored last night and decided to try something out, the design is at www.jakeboyles.com/clouds/index.html , Its just kind of a rough design I know it still needs some work, Im just getting a heads up. Thanks

I like the idea, I'll look forward to seeing how it looks once you have fine-tuned the graphics and layout a little.

Its great to see you experimenting with different styles of layout now :)

thanks, Ya I need to find a good cloud brush on da, and I need to get a better vector person. Does anyone have ideas for an menu?? Its driving me nuts lol, I was thinking bout maybe having a cloud be one button, then maybe a plane, a blimp, etc. but idk.

have a biplane towing one of those big message things, but have it with a few menu items on instead...

new version updated, I added a shadow to the menu to make it stand out better, and I took out the cloud bg thats gonna be replaced with a better cloud, Im having a lot of trouble making one that looks good.

It's a great idea although it definitely needs tweaking. I think maybe you could do with a slightly softer blue for th background.

yup I would say that the colours are a slight problem at the moment, as they are quite harsh...why not try looking at sunset or night then you could have all the images in silhouettes, that would help restrict your pallet and give it a more professional feel :)
