February 1, 201016 yr I've seen a job advertised locally stating Main focus will be template & logo design, and clean, well written HTML & CSS code. No work experience required so I'm trying to put together some sample sites to show them I just wondered if this would be up to standard ? link Its a work in progress at the moment thanks
February 2, 201016 yr Not bad. Checkered wall is awful. Reflections are incorrect. Phone receiver: i think it would be better to replace this drawing with photo, extend phone cable to the edge of the footer and remove strange light spot under phone.
February 2, 201016 yr +1 to Lev - good answers. Change the chequered wall to incorporate a more attractive... look at places like DSF etc... something like this maybe: Good luck
February 2, 201016 yr For the top, you can do a subtle pattern, something like the top of my website? You can use colors to fit your design of course. Like Lev said, the reflection under the both couches are incorrect. Please see this tutorial on reflections. I know its a tutorial for a car reflection, but the same principal applies. The phone on the bottom has to go.
February 2, 201016 yr Author thank you Is the html and css good enough I really appreciate all the advice
February 2, 201016 yr Author Is this an improvement still need a phone image, I think the reflections are better now not sure on the wall thanks
February 2, 201016 yr Much better, IMHO. Top sofa - shadow, reflection are OK. Bottom sofa - both reflection and shadow (look at light direction) are rendered incorrectly. (I`d removed this reflection. Let this sofa stands on the beige carpet for instance). There are some issues with page elements alignment.
