October 26, 200619 yr It's been brought to my attention that my company will be buying me Flash along with anything else I need to build interactive software. At this point, they are also trying to save money, so should I tell them to get just flash and photoshop? Or should I just tell them to get the studio and use fireworks.
October 27, 200619 yr It depends on exactly what you are doing. If you are designing, no flash Photoshop is key. But if you are animating then Flash is the better of the two.
October 29, 200619 yr Author Well, I'm doing both, kinda. I'm designing presentations that will "require" animations, so I will use flas rather than PPT. Most of the pictures are sreenshots, so I'm not entirely sure I'll need Photoshop. However, I might. My boss is asking what I need right now, although the project doesn't start for a few months. I don't want to say one thing now and end up having to ask for something sdifferent later.
October 29, 200619 yr I'm sure you can get both and be able to work fine with them. I am sure they both have what you need. Run with it.

I think he'll need both. But we probably should bring this question to Eskymo's attention. She is the most experienced in Flash and design in general from us all.
