Amazing website

Flash isnt something all web designers use. It's sort of, an addition. I don't use / know any flash so couldnt comment on a time frame, but I'd imagine just as long as designing a website, coding it css and html, and then adding jquery.

As you can see, the page is not made entirely of flash. It's rather a luxurious addition [to those that have downloaded flash player]. Flash is much harder and takes much longer to produce. Flash is also very difficult to edit after it's done. It's actually kind of like a movie (which is what I tell all my clients), you can create very nice effects, but the filesize might get big, or the visitor's browser support it, and it's very hard to edit.

I would recommend using the old fashioned HTML/CSS for your website.

Cheers!

To be fair, flash is pretty widespread now, considering that youtube uses it for its videos and facebook uses it for its games. But I agree, its a steep learning curve if you dont know what you're doing.
