I am just going to quote something I said to you in a different thread...

 

Anyway I am guessing, from what Chris has said, that you are suffering from a collapsing table, which happens sometimes with cells of a table. It can cause a lot of problems especially when using a table for layout and housing different slices of the same image in different cells. Its normally caused when you take away something from the cell, say for example a slice of image so that you can then write something within it, this causes it to change size and because the whole table relies on each cell in it to dictate its shape and size then it causes all the other cells to break as well. It can happen for other reasons too, as really because tables are so temperamental at the best of times it could just be that 1 cell is 1px too big or too small, thus making the whole layout out of whack. This is one of the many reasons why css should be used for layouts.

 

 

My advice on how to fix this, go through the tutorial sash_007 provided you with as it will be much quicker and more productive for you as you can spend the time you would be using trying to fix this site on learning how to code it correctly... we are here to help you as you can see but surely by now you can see that this method that you are using is wasting you more time then it is saving you....I know I'm a broken record, you are learning how to do it correctly, you just want to learn from the poorly produced code that photoshop creates that makes such a simple layout look so complex.

hey, thats a great tutorial ive put that in my favs, i have 2 websites i am building for people coming up and i will be 100% using divs and css for them going step by step with those tutorials, unfortunately for this one the deadline is next thursday and i have so much other stuff do do for it like getting stamps made up for the bouncers etc so im up against it. So is there really no way i can type text or paste and image over that centre content? (sorry to sound like jeremy paxman)
