October 21, 200916 yr Author I'd be interested in taking a look. How much are you planning on charging for this? Thank you for your response Darren. The base price would be about £2250. This can vary a lot depending on a myriad of things like site density and complexity. For this price you would get: RapidBuilder - the core system which builds and edits your website in plain English - you need NO technical skills at all. Your RapidBuilder website can be based on one of our existing designs or we can create a custom designed interface for you. If you chose to use one of our existing designs, the colours can be changed to suit and your logo placed within the design. With a custom template we start with a totally fresh draft or we can emulate the look and feel of your current website. RapidBuilder can be used without RapidSeller, (our eBay integration system), should you require a website to showcase projects or sell on-line without using eBay. RapidPhoto - takes images from any source, formats and resizes the image as thumbnail and large images to suit both your website and eBay. RapidPhoto fully integrates with Google Picasa to edit and enhance your images then watermarks each image with your company name and uploads them to our super fast servers automatically, negating the need for images to be manually uploaded to eBay or your website - saving masses of time. RapidWebsite - is the fully featured, Microsoft dotNET website that is populated by RapidBuilder. RapidBuilder doesn't use templates as such, but uses websites built in the respected and well supported Microsoft web technology. The benefits are numerous including the fact that any web developer can modify a RapidWebsite, and the technically proficient might even design a whole new website from scratch that incorporates the RapidBuilder functionality. Our typical client will pick a website style from those already made, (it's cheaper that way!) and the RapidBuilder team will modify that website to match the user's existing corporate colours and will add your logo, (based upon you supplying the logo in a digital format) within the design. If you do not wish to use eBay we can also offer a full e-commerce solution with a shopping trolley and secure payment system. This would all also include anything like logo design. It also includes two hours of free one on one training to teach you how to easily update your website. (Doesn't take long at all). The eBay Integration is an extra and is usually £750 but I generally throw it in for free if it is going to be used a lot by the client. I hope all of this is some help to you Darren, I am available on Skype, E-mail or MSN if you want to chat further at all. Hope to hear back from you soon, Adam, AKS Designs

November 3, 200916 yr Author So you use what? FTP? FTP + CMS = nothing really that new. __________ Looking at the output of the 'CMS' it's all tables *yuk* Not exactly following standards. + i can't see anywhere that says you can 'update' your website whilst offline Hi Gaz, The CMS output isn't really "CMS output". RapidSeller is a CMS application tightly integrated with *any* dotnet website. If the website designer wants to use tables, they can. If they want to use strict CSS they can. And I wasn't promoting that FTP was anything special As our software is desktop based, it needs simple and easy to use updating and this is made to be done at the click of a button. I have been using the software for a while and it is, in user end terms, updated offline. This is because it isn't browser based and you don't need an internet connection at the time of adding to your site. All site updating and code changing can be done and viewed offline in .NET format until the site is generated and flattened in to pure HTML & CSS. Hope this clears any discrepancies
