October 7, 200916 yr hi guys can I get some feedback on this site please http://www.craigtesting.net16.net/walmercyclingclub/ thanks again
October 8, 200916 yr Author I see lots of you have looked at the site but no comments, should I take that as a good thing ?
October 8, 200916 yr I think it's on the way to being a really nice site, I'd like the main links to be a bit more obvious, maybe have them inside the header graphic and do them in white, at the moment they blend in with the content a bit too much The upcoming fixtures could either align better with the box on the right, or fill to the side and have the sample data box underneath? I love the calendar it's really intuitive If you nudge the main page title gifs right about 20px it will look like the bike is riding over them instead of overlapping. I think the drop shadows are a bit overdone, maybe take the size of them down and have them just dropping off the bottom with a only a slight shadow on the top and sides. My two pennies
October 8, 200916 yr Im on my work computer on IE and the footer is riding almost half way up the page, over the main content. You want to sort this out!
October 8, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the feedback guys, I have made changes accordingly, the shadows is something the club guys particularly liked so I don't think I should lose those. I changed the menu and moved the headers over what you think. I think I prefered the headers to the left. mrchristoph: I have tested in Internet Explorer and the footer moves accordingly, which version are you on ? Is it fair to assume people have javascript enabled now days ? there is a mobi site which it will redirect to for phone.

October 8, 200916 yr Im on IE7 but no Javascript. Bloody work computers Something to consider though, as not all people will have it enabled.
October 8, 200916 yr I much prefer the main links in the header, the text of the links is very small for me tho, maybe knock it up a few points
October 8, 200916 yr Author that was a bit of a dilema for me, I go up just 1 pixel and it seems too close to the edge but if I raise the position it looks 'forced'. any suggestions. I also prefer the links in the header. I am not really sure how to fix the footer situation because I have catered for the divs that will constantly changing in size any ideas?
October 8, 200916 yr I'm not a professional designer but I can express my opinion as a professional user . The design looks interesting and fresh, and it is good. I'm not a lover of the red/black/white colour scheme, but in this case it looks really nice. The content area looks a little empty, but I think it will be better when using the real content. Just one critique: the picture in the right-bottom corner seems unnecessary.
October 8, 200916 yr I like to be honest, I personally don't like the look of it, it seems "chunky" and "off the grid" but it is all about what the customer likes at the end of the day. There is a good use of shadows and colours, but the navigation is way to small.. you should move it into the middle of thee banner and make it bigger..
October 8, 200916 yr Looks nice to me but the 2 images at the bottom are blocky and I'd say there's a bit too much shadow other then that I'm feeling the love.
October 8, 200916 yr Hi, Think it look nice. I would take away the red boarder around the content areas though. It is a bit too overpowering and takes away from the content. All in all though I think it is a great site. Keep it up!
