I'm looking for some software that can go on a server and manage (easily and simply) mailing lists and newsletters. Ideally it needs to be able to link into a newsletter signup on a website. Been scouring the web and can't find anything. It needs to be very user friendly as clients will take it over once the site goes live.

 

Anyone have any ideas of experience?

http://dadamailproject.com/ has always been a good all rounder, have been using it for many years and installed it on 30+ sites if memory serves.

 

If you want something more powerfull then http://www.activecampaign.com/email-marketing/ takes some beating.

Try Interspire (http://www.interspire.com/emailmarketer/). It used to be called something else, but it's the same product w/some 'improvements'.

 

I've installed it for 10 or so orgs and it's been very successful. Scales well, easy to use, low number of support calls. They (used to) offer a 50% discount for non-profits.
