Google's Picassa

Featured Replies

Is anyone using Google's Picassa to store and edit photos and graphics? I use to have Photoshop but recently tried Picassa and like it because it seems easier to me. I'm just beginning on editing photos so I needed something that was easy. :) So far, I'm having good luck with it.

I haven't tried Picasa. I use Corel's Paint Shop Pro (currently using PSP7 and PSP9, from when they were Jasc) for my graphic editing, and I store them on my own hard drive. :)

I must have been sleeping under a rock! I haven't even heard of picassa. Is taht an online only app like many of google's new tools?

No I have not tried it but, you know anything from Google is going to be nice. I will get it sometime. Is there a price?

Nope! It's free! I have yet to download it but it sure seems pretty handy. I usually organize my pictures on my own, but this program seems like the ticket.

Picasa? Good? It rocks! 8) It's very user friendly, and a few of great effects - it's good for image organisation. Actually, it doesn't organise your images it just 'finds' them and make it much easier to seek out the picture you want - much quick that doing it manually. :)

It's now got a link to Picasa web albums with 'one-click' - it's like Flickr.. but Googleish.

I've installed in a few friends and family machines if they have a digital camera, and every single one loves it.
