do you not think its to blue, and a bit graphic-less? - i dunno i like it (obviously its my site) but i feel it needs something and i cant figure out what that is.

It's clean and well laid out but:

1) Your logo and title need lining up properly.

2) Not the most exciting site I've seen to be honest - not very engaging.

It is quite boring to look at so I may just re-design completely - convert it to a static site instead of a wordpress site.

its obnly bloomin june and this will be my forth design!

bit wordy, needs more fancy graphics and styling too. Don't like the column on the right (search, archives, categories, hcard). It seems unneccesary as does the RSS feed. Would agree on having a darker shade of text too.

Also, theres no way of knowing which page you're actually looking at. Click on SEO services, then imagine you've found your way to that page via a search engine. How do you know which section of the website you're looking at? is it the home page? Simply having the relevant button on the menu bar darker for whichever page your on would solve that one.

Each page looks a bit samey too, it shouldn't take more than a glance for someone to 'get' what page they're looking at and it's relevance.

nice clean lines though

Actually I like the site. I agree that it is wordy, but I do not believe a good website has to be made up of fancy graphics and effects. I like the colors, although I would go for a brighter blue, like you have used in the little logo, for the headings so that they stand out more. Alternatively use a light, light gray for the content. I am less keen on your logo as it reminds me of the photoshop icon. I would try making the main heading stand out more, by using a brighter blue and increasing the size.

I like it. I think it looks clean, professional and 'engineer-like' which is want you want for your business and in my opinion, suits the name 'The Website Engineer'.

If you feel that it's boring, or doesn't show certain aspects of your design abilities in other ways, you can always use your portfolio area to demonstrate other designs you can offer.

On a fussy note, I did notice one or two grammatical errors. For example, you write "you" instead of "your". I didn't read every single line of text, but someone will and while it is an easy mistake to make for us all, it might be worth proof reading it yourself to make sure nothing lets you or your website down.

Very nice site though...good work!

I like the design and the colour scheme, the colours go really well with the actual layout, as others have said maybe add a bit more graphical content to the site and I think it will be spot on! :)

Also, your logo looks quite alike the CS package icons xD
