My website is a Search Engine Optimisation Experiment, I have no gains with it at all, it is a way for me to get some feedback on the design bit of it, and the actual journal writing. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you all for your time.

Hi char, thanks for your input.

Well, I was also thinking that about the image, I could easily reduce the size, and I loved the fact that you said you hated scrolling down to read the text, that was just the sort of input I like to hear.

I will put a larger gap between the navigation and the first paragrah, I am extremelly interested in usability as well.

About the green arrow, why would you remove it? Hmmm I must say I do like it, but I would like some input on it.

The portfolio link will be removed actually. My other webpage, BMLDesigns.com will be where I have my portfolio work.

About the contact page yes I do feel this is my weakest point to be honest, it was styled in CSS, but if you have any advice on how to improve it I would very much appreciate it.

Once again, thanks for your time.

Could I possibly get some more replies on this? =)

Thanks for your input :)

EDIT: Char, I tried out pulling up the image so you could not have to scroll down, unfortunatelly, I don't think it looks as nice. I left it up in the index.html if you want to see or anyone else for that matter.

I think its a good design; but I feel that with a few improvements it could be great :p

Header: That image is far too big. I think it needs shortening. Perhaps to compensate you could make it wider so that it still has quick a big visual impact whilst not absorbing the content room?

Colour Scheme: Seems a tiny bit dull to me. Perhaps it needs spicing up a little with an extra colour or two to contrast the very natural/plain looking colours you have so far. Maybe use these to highlight important text, highlight headers or sub-headers and sections of the image? :)

Well the overall look is good

Headder too big

colours - wishy washy

the font usage and CSS control of the text is very poor

The SEO is pretty non existant, especially on the internal pages

And what the HELL has that got to do with the price of cheese? Maybe I should have said "yeah it's a nice site, but go to asda they sell really nice melons!"

Spam plxxxx  ^^

I think the overall design is simple and clear and the information is to the point. I'm not a big fan of the navigation tho, I think it needs to be separated more, and I'm unsure of the lines above the title.
