Need a decent host

Featured Replies

I urgently need to find a new host which is capable of running CMS Made Simple efficiently.

The needs are 32mb PHP memory limit, MySQL / phpMyadmin databases, lots of memory (a few gb as it is a large site with hundreds of images), and just make sure it runs quickly. Good support is also a must!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated :)

There's not really a budget, if I can present a few options that would be cool. And obviously the cheaper the better. I just know they need to sign upto it today

One good option: CS New Media, using one of their shared Linux packages. Memory limit on their reseller packages is 192Mb so should be quite high on the shared packages as well.

Fast, stable, good support. Not dirt-cheap but you get what you pay for.

They look quite good Zigi - not too badly priced... cheers for that!

Heya,

We do hosting as well and have a lot of positive reviews about our services on this forum :yahoo:

Looking at your requirements you may want to start on our business package which comes with 5GB space and 30GB bandwidth which should be a good starting point if your running a resource hungry site :)

Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask :)

I highly recommend Peartree, excellent service and I've not had any problems. Very well priced as well.

Will be writing a review about them as soon as I find time.

I'm sure that CSNM, Peartree or Wesh would all be fine. I use CSNM very happily, and many forum members use the other two and talk about them both in glowing terms.
