I've built a CMS in Wordpress for a client that has another .ASP CMS sitting in the route directory. The new wordpress CMS is to be sat in the route, moving the .asp cms to a sub-directory. For example. www.wordpresshere.com and www.wordpress.com/aspCMShere.

 

I was wondering if anybody has any experience moving the directory of an .ASP CMS? Should I attempt it or stay well away!? I have no experience whatsoever with ASP and don't want to mess anything up!

If you move an application to a subfolder you usually just have to adjust URL and path settings in the configuration. However, depending how well the CMS has been built, you may have to adjust URL's embedded in content and templates as well.
