May 25, 200917 yr hey fellas, been looking around and i know exactly what i need from a CMS but cant find one that supports all the bits i need. how hard would it be to write a bridge for a CMS ? or can anyone direct me to one that can intergrate the following: - IPB (already existing forum) - cubecart (already existing cart) - mediawiki (already existing wiki) - and a sweet gallery, im open to different galleries as i dont have one yet. May 25, 200917 yr Bridging IPB, Cubecart and a wiki would be quite a horrible coding task - and I'm pretty sure you'd need custom development. By bridging I assume you mean "login once, login to them all". You may be best looking for a new solution (i.e. a very full featured CMS) that includes them all, either as core or as plugins, then migrating your data. Still moderately horrible during the migration, but easier to maintain in the longer term. Zenphoto is a superb stand-alone gallery (though bear in mind the points above).
May 25, 200917 yr Author hi zigpress, thats the idea. once you are loged in you are loged into them all - pretty messy i guess. i found a bridge for mediawiki and ipb... but i have a cubecart that i have paid for already and that works quite well im trying to make it so they only need to log in once and thats it.

I'm afraid I don't have enough time available to offer my services - and to be honest, speaking from experience (integrating PHP-Fusion with phpBB3 and a few other "mashups") it's not a job I would put myself up for unless I couldn't afford to put fuel in the car and food on the table!

May 25, 200917 yr No problem, as the shop wouldn't require a login it's not tied in with anything else and anyone can still order stuff.
