I need to get a themed dating website up and running, and since I don't have umpteen thousand developer-hours available, I'm naturally thinking I should use a white-label solution, rather than write my own.

 

I've found some likely candidates for hosted, managed solutions, and I wondered if any of you have used any of these, and if so, what your views are?

I'm going to need multicurrency support for member subscriptions, and possibly multilanguage as well, further down the road.

 

I also found osDate but don't particularly want to have to manage payment gateways, source code, etc etc.

 

All views on the managed solutions would be really welcome.

World Dating Partners. Also they are the only ones that offer SSL for when you sign up (the others don't IIRC) - I don't particularly like giving personal details over an unsecure connection. I assume SSL is available for your subscribers too.

I have used White Label Dating and found it to be quite good. I have made a few spare quid from it, but nothing groundbreaking. It is one of those things that if you have the time to dedicate to it, it can be quite profitable...
