Soundloop will soon be functional mediaplayer (with many songs). So please spare me the critics =)

Sound loop is still annoying, it's loud and short and really. I liked it for the first 2 seconds, then it gave me a headache. Also, users are not going to expect it and may end up closing their browser. Seems like you are pretty insistent on keeping it, do you think it enhances the experience?

 

The arrows are your portfolio nav, don't work, when clicking on them, I'm expecting to go to the next thumbnail. You should remove the auto scroll based on mouse position, it takes way to long to get to the next thumbnail. And show a status below each thumbnail(like viewing 1 of 8, etc..). Lastly, I still think your work images could be a lot bigger.

 

Lastly, I don't really get the text bubbles. Why are they there? I didn't find them funny or clever. Put some info on your "homepage" (default state of site), like maybe some info about you, or your work, or something. It feels like wasted space.

Your site really takes ages to load! Secondly, I know you are fixing the sound loop but most people don't really want sound on a web page. I normally surf the web at night while I am watching tv, so to suddenly have sound coming out my pc is a distraction. Other people play their own music and well I could go on...

 

It is difficult to comment on the design further as I assume this is a work in progress and not much is up yet.

Strange why the loading time is so long :S the site is only 300kb..

 

The new soundplayer will not be playing out of itself, you have to turn it on.

 

I'm going to change some stuff about the design but most of it will stay like this!

Oh maybe I am not seeing everything then. I just get a gray screen with a vertical menu down the left, a sound thing at the top and yellow speech bubble show up when I move my mouse across the screen.

Move your mouse over the vertical menu

I get the idea of it - nice concept but it did take me a while to work it out!! you don't want people to lose interest. I think you need to lose the sound, and present the user with something straight away.

Unsolicited music is (still) really annoying. I went straight for the close browser button. End of feedback.

I am not sure what I am looking at ? is this your portfolio or a site you made for someone what is it purpose ?
