Domain Name Reselling

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend any companies like eNom for example (but preferrably UK based) that enable you to resell/manage domain name for your own clients? Thanks.

Hi

There's an add above your post for Heart Internet that do reseller packages. I can recommend them as I use them myself. At the end of the day it depends what you want for your money and I have very little experience on resellers other than Heart Internet. However, I did shop around before deciding that I would go with them.

I like their control panel and the packages that I'm able to offer people is totally upto me. I'm not the cheapest around, but want to earn enough to stay around not just for me but my clients too.

Have look and see what you think I'd be interested to know, especially if you find someone better.

Best Wishes ... Avril

Thanks, I've looked at Heart but they only offer domain reselling as part of their reseller hosting package. I already have a reseller hosting package elsewhere, but the guys I'm with only offer eNom sub-accounts where you have to 'load' $100 USD on the account before you can start managing domains etc. (and also eNom are USA based).

With eNom you have to add money to your account at whatever level... $100 is to allow you to register domains, its not a setup fee.

We use the eNom api's etc to register domains and don t have a problem with them they are much much better than FastHosts, Heart Internet etc

If you just want to offer UK domains then you could always register yourself as a Nominet member (its about £500 a year) and that way you can offer .uk domains for £5

We offer 45+ TLDs for reselling with industry's lowest cost.

Visit http://resellers.vhost4all.com/ for more details.

Did you sign up to these forums just to plug your website in this thread? LOL

Also, no SSL = no signups (not from me anyway). :)

Unfortunately most domain resellers price in USD, if you specifically want to sell .uk domains then you can as Rob suggested become a nominet member.

I know some companies who offer sub reseller accounts with no fee's that allow you to bill in GBP and pay in GBP.

Otherwise you can try www.netearthone.com

Hi Tim,

What companies do you know that offer sub reseller accounts etc.?

Also, that link you provided the website is virtually identical to the one provided by our Indian friend a few posts up (MyiStop) - presumably there is some 'parent' website which lets people become their own online resellers/sub-resellers? Also like with his site no SSL for signups :( - sounds a bit anal but I refuse to send personal details over the wire unencrypted.

Cheers
