March 5, 200917 yr Hey guys, Just thought I would post up a logo I'm working on at the moment - http://bit.ly/vpQC Comments and feeback welcome Thanks
March 5, 200917 yr Green heat? is it like eco-friendly underfloor heating? It's nicey, me like, care to explain your choices? i'm intrigued....
March 5, 200917 yr Author Well its for a geothermal heating & cooling, design and installation business. I tried to go for something simple and easy to recognise. I might go for some darker colours though.
March 5, 200917 yr the pallete looks good to me, although is the green on the flame different to the end text, i don't like the shade of the flame, but it might just be the gradients throwing me off, or my nackared eyes . It looks good, it's pretty wide though, just trying to think about how it'd implement onto different mediums (also how does it look in black and white), i'm liking the overall choice of green though and my guess wasn't far out... so i guess means the logo represents the company pretty well.
March 5, 200917 yr Very nice! bocaj is right that its a little wide but im guessing it wouldnt look too bad to split it on two lines if needed on the odd occasion
March 5, 200917 yr It's a nice logo But I thought the same thing as these guys mentioned. It's pretty wide and might be difficult to fit in some places. Although I think that is mostly down to the kinda long company name anyway.
March 5, 200917 yr Looks great mate! I like it. Which software did you design it on? How does it look if you put it like: Heat Beneath Your Feet
March 5, 200917 yr I really like the look of the logo, but my first impressions of "Green & Heat" confused me a bit, untill you said it was for a "geothermal heating & cooling" company.
March 5, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the input guys, I'll post up some black and white previews, and change bits around soon
March 5, 200917 yr Surely, aside from the obvious impracticalities, the "heat beneath" Should go, well beneath, the "your feet".. Nice logo mate. I like it! I agree with the above comments about width etc, but nice job!
March 5, 200917 yr I think you should antialias the flame logo a little bit. Besides that, the logo is ok.
