you guys prefer a side bar to be on the left or the right?

or content based decision?

thinking of moving menu to right of a website instead of left (2 sec css job)

Depends on the content and the way the site flows...either way as it is all about the site content and sometimes that calls for the menu to be on the right or the left :pp

On the left for vital menu items, to accommodate variable screen resolutions. Also capitalises on left to right reading flow. Conversely, you could place it on the right to force the user to absorb some content before navigating.

cool, I would have thaught links bar would be better on the left and a sub content bar would be better on the right, where my sites content has changed so much I was thinking of moving the left bar to the right but have now decided not to, thanks everyone.
