At the time of blog site i feel tht SEO is gud bt any general site can any1 tell me how to better use SEO ?

blogs, articles, link building, bla bla ... i knw bt in general site how to use more better way ?

how to use SMO in dis purpose ?

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and SMO (Social Media Optimisation) are 2 different things.

So its impossible to say for you which will be 'better'. Both have their merits, both disciplines serve a different need.

Both however generate links, (I'm guessing that's the name of the game / and the underlying point to your question?).

Just make sure you talk to your audience. If you think they are populated in a blog(s) then publish content there. If its facebook use that, if you've got a decent database you may want to consider e-marketing.

I hope I've helped to answer the question.

If you do good at SMO the SEO will follow the track, If you hit the first page of Digg and get thousands of linkbacks its helping your SEO. SEO perhaps has more of long tail effect while SMO produces some short, sharp results.

One of the biggest differences between SEO and SMO is the networking aspect. SMO is heavily-reliant on networking and strong profiles, while SEO can be done without this.

Of course any form of good marketing hooks you customers rather than links making SEO benefits just an added bonus. For most businesses that's the important thing. The only business I can think of that would prefer to generate just links over customers would be an SEO outsourcer.
