New Template Idea

Featured Replies

HI guys I just wanted some CC on my template idea that I had for my new website. I was trying to go for the corporate/professional look...

Thanks in advance :D

It looks like the nav bar is an afterthought. To be honest what it looks like to me is that you have taken a site design and then just plonked some other menu onto of it, as the colours don't work, it makes no sense why it is spanning all the way across the site. The rest of the design is pleasant maybe the footer needs some work, so if you look at a better way to present the navigation and maybe reduce the footer a little and changhe its colour you would have an nice looking site :)

Thanks for your input Dizi :D

I agree with Dizi the nav looks like an after thought, it looks like something you would find on sites like tutorialized etc, I know its template but does have to look so generic, put some of your own personality in to it, in many cases design is about a freedom of expression, giving the right the basis to bring the best out of the copy, with the added advantage of making the user feel pleased with the aesthetics.

I will say you designs are improving, this one however is just too blocky and templatey (technical terms) for me!

I am however first and foremost a developer though, so you can do what you want with my opinion. But congrats on the improvement from the first site you put up here.
