Website Design Idea

Featured Replies

I like your logo, and the design of the actual site is no where near the same level as it. Why wood? Maybe some green / trees and bushes would be more suitable to a bird? Or a birdbox!!

I really like the concept, but after hearing ITLocals idea, I like that too....:D

Hm. Well, originally I was going to do something more like that, but I tried it with the wood and I liked it too much! :p

Can you justify it in terms of design, rather than just personal preference?

Here's a design I'm working on for my portfolio site. It's going to be really simple, just so that I can have something to show my work on. Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

personally I'm finding it hard to appreciate the wood combined with the rest of the theme in terms of style and colour.

I'd try something a bit more subtle to get the point across.

Best,

Love the logo, not a fan of the wood look and maybe instead of a gradient background just sticking to the light blue? I think this would really fit in well with grass and trees as mentioned by others here.
