August 26, 200818 yr Hey, I was just wondering how people get their ideas down quickly? I usually use Photoshop - the mock-up will then gradually evolve into greater detail and then i'll chop it all up and build it using CSS. But recently, good old paper and pencil is great for stopping ideas from floating away, because I usually get inspiration at the strangest of times. Photoshop can be a little slow for this sort of thing sometimes.
August 26, 200818 yr Paper and pencil works for me. Also a good set of couloured pencils. (Call me old fashioned) Then I get on Photoshop/illustrator and the code it up.
August 27, 200818 yr I write / draw ideas down on paper and when I want to see how it would all fit together in a site I use PS.
August 27, 200818 yr Sometimes when I get random detailed (like really detailed) inspiration out of nowhere, I'll go straight to photoshop and work away. Other times though, when I have no ideas, I'll pencil and paper until I have a decent website.
August 27, 200818 yr Pencil and paper, then either into GIMP if it's a website or Pencil Project if it's an interface.
